Today’s J-Tin show in San Leandro was a success with well over 100 tasty vintage Japanese rides of all makes and models. Our caravan from Z Car Garage included 7 Datsun Roadsters, 1 Z car and 510 wagon. From L to R:
Ken’s ’69 SR20 SRL, Eddie’s ’66 SR20 SPL, Todd’s ’68 SRL, Francis’ ’68 SRL, Mike’s 67.5 SPL, Mark’s ’66 Turbo SPL, Eric’s ’69 SPL, Matt’s 510 wagon, and the ZCG ‘67.5 SRL:
The weather was beautiful at the marina and there was no shortage of stock, restored, modified and zany rides. Here are some highlights…
There was a strong Datsun prescence with trucks, Z-cars, 510 coupes, sedans, wagons and even a few Bluebird coupes:
It was truly a JDM wheel-lover’s paradise with everything from TE37V to SSR Mk2s:
Interesting engine swaps including several F20C(S2000) and SR20DET drivetrains into sleeper Toyota coupes and this super clean Lexus V8:
Stock, solid axle 510 sedan and a wildly modified truck:
Some of the cleanest Toyotas and Mazdas I’ve seen:
Before we left the marina we gathered our roadsters for a quick photo:
Thank you to Ivan and James at HJCG
for organizing another superb event. We look forward to the next gathering in July where we hear an autocross will also be part of the fun!
