This post was supposed to be up yesterday but we experienced some server issues which have been cleared up. Sorry.
Volk TE37 wheels are the bees knees. When our friend who owns this car found a NEW set of TE’s in Los Angeles that were painted black with a polished lip from the factory, he decided it was worth the six hour drive down there to pick them up. It was a good decision. Now we just need to get some springs on this thing…Bill?
One of the first posts we did on this car is HERE. It has made almost 300whp (SAE corrected) with just a few bolt-ons. Check out the post.
There are more photos after the jump. Have a great weekend!

I just found this over on the ZELE site and I’m in love. It looks like they are offering a real life kit of a G37/V36 Skyline that Polyphony Digital designed for the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 5 racing simulator. This kit combined with the Volk TE37 G2 wheel just hits so hard. Looks like I need to start saving for a G37.
Happy Friday and look for another post before the end of the day, we are crazy busy here at the shop.

I’m not quite sure how I missed this news in the automotive blog universe but it seems that Nissan has plans to release a special Nurburgring edition 370z to commemorate the entrance of a 370z in the 24hrs of Nurburgring in May. So far the car is only set to be released in Germany and only 80 are going to produced.
The only real differences from a standard 370z will be special “Premium Ultimate Yellow” paint, special decals (Nür Spec?), slightly wider tires, and an exhaust system change that should result in more beautiful Nissan sounds. No other mechanical changes have been announced at this time to indicate any improvement in performance which is why I think this special edition isn’t so special.
I haven’t found any photos of the finished car yet but the expected price with current exchange rates is going to be around $72,000. Why not just by two 370Zs right?
I figured that since we will be taking the ZCG 370z back to the track in the next couple of weeks I should finally post up the second video that Scott filmed in his track 350z. I hope that this will hype some of you up to join us on the track in the near future.
Don’t forget that ZCG can prepare your car for your next track event!

The great people over at the ZONC organization have put together another fun cruise for all of us to attend. This time the group will be heading from the meet-up point in Sacramento all the way up to Truckee, CA (North Lake Tahoe are) along scenic Highway 70.
Having spent lots of time in this area I can say that this run offers some of the nicest views and one of the most unique drives within a few hours of the Bay Area. The RSVP deadline was set for last Friday so if you still plan on attending please contact them ASAP so that they can make the appropriate arrangements for the drive. See the all the information on the flyer below (click for larger)! Thanks Curtis!
I will be trying to attend this trip if I can clear my weekend so I hope to see you out there!
