John T or “Taco” as we call him around the shop has been coming to Z Car Garage for several years. In 2008 we installed a built engine in his Z32TT along with some hardware that he had been saving. He visited us recently to have build the rest of the Z to have a more balanced sports car. The stock suspension was old and not up to the task of supporting significantly more power than stock.

We installed full suspension including Stance coil-overs and a host of Powertrix parts:

Here are the tired stock shocks and the new Stance coil-overs:

Powertrix rear control arms:

Powertrix T/C rods, end-links and camber arms:

With new suspension John can now enjoy a sports car that can keep up with the increased power!

Joe R was referred to Z Car Garage by long-time customer and Z33 owner “T.C”. Joe’s 2013 370z came to us with just 1900 miles on the odometer ready for some bolt-ons! We installed Fast Intentions Hi-Flow cats, their TDX exhaust system and Stillen intakes:

Stillen Gen3 intakes:

Hi-flow cats from Fast Intentions:

The TDX cat-back exhaust compared to stock:

UPREV tuning yields 311hp/250tq to the wheels:
We think making the rear diffuser black is a must have for any 370z and William’s has been doing this mod for the front (pre-2013) and rear since the Z34 was released:

Gordon came to Z Car Garage for Stillen Gen3 intakes and a Fast Intentions exhaust system. ZCG is a Fast Intentions dealer so please visit the shop if you are interested in their products! Here is the Fast Intentions TDX cat-back exhaust system and Stillen intakes:

The exhaust looks great from the rear:

Stock single muffler vs the TDX dual muffler setup:

Stillen Gen3 Intakes are always a nice addition to the new HR engines:

An UPREV tune maximizes benefits from the enhanced breathing. Peak power jumps by 10hp/9tq to the wheels but the real gains are seen from 3000 to 7500rpm. Dyno shows gains from exhaust + UPREV only:

Enjoy The Ride, Gordon!

Leo P came to Z Car Garage to have AAM (R-line) intakes installed on his 2013 370z. The Z made good power with intakes and tuning but Leo reported the Z was running roughly a few days later. Here are the baseline+initial tune dyno runs:
Rob suggested running Stillen Gen3 intakes and predicted greater power gains with a tune over the AAM setup. Leo’s 370z now makes 318hp/260tq to the wheels, a significant improvement over the AAM setup indeed!

It really makes our day when a customer is satisfied with the work we perform on their car.
Danny K came to Z Car Garage a few months back to sort out his Vortech supercharged G35 Coupe. It was not running well so we diagnosed a few problems and UPREV tuned it. Here is Danny’s impression…
“Rob Fuller and his team are the BEST in the game. His team is so passionate in what they do. I am going to be honest, I should have came to this shop to begin with. I had my car modified with a Vortech Supercharger, fuel injectors and fuel pump. After the install I also had another shop tune my car with Uprev. It did not run well at all. Mind you, I have been driving it for 9 months before bringing it to Rob’s team. I asked him to tune my car and naturally he agreed to it. It took Rob’s team to figure out what was wrong in minutes. He rearranged his schedule to accommodate the correction. I have to admit, Rob and his team are the best mechanics in NorCal. You guys are probably reading, why I didn’t go to them first, well they are 3 hours from where I live and there isn’t a moment I regretted going to the closer shop and not making the extra drive to going to the best. If UPREV sends you to a shop other than Z Car Garage I tell you to think again and make the extra effort to make this shop your first choice…”

The G now runs as it should and the dyno reveals a healthy drivetrain. With 398hp/331tq to the wheels we are confident that Danny is happier now:) If you are interested in UPREV tuning your NA or FI Nissan/Infiniti please consider visiting ZCG for the right tune!
