When we last checked in with Enrique’s
Project ’67 Camaro stunning paint and body work was completed:

The slick F-body then received major chassis developments with choice components from Detroit Speed Engineering(DSE). Up front, an entire DSE front clip was installed. This all-inclusive setup houses beefy upper/lower tubular control arms, coil-over shocks, and the power rack and pinion steering.

The clip is a complete bolt-on affair that replaces the stock subframe… modern sportscar handling here we come!

Massive 14″ rotors squeezed by BAER 6-piston brakes handle stopping duties:

On to the rear! The stock, leaf spring suspension was upgraded to a full 4-link setup with coil-overs and Panhard bar. The rear axle is a Ford 9″ with limited slip:

DSE’s popular mini-tub kit allows massive 335-width tires to fit under stock rear fenders:

Stay tuned as Enrique’s Camaro gets a drivetrain and interior!

Our last report on Ken’s
300zx included suspension and extensive power upgrades. Ken came back to ZCG for tuning and installation of:
-Ash-Spec inlet pipes
-BDE motor mounts
-Quaife LSD and 4.10 Leader Gears

Here are the new Ash-spec inlet pipes compared to the old:

You can thank your lucky Z stars for BDE low-profile Z32 motor mounts, a smart alternative to OEM that allows more clearance larger for intakes:

A set of 4.10 Leader gears along with a Quaife LSD were installed:

Ken tells us that he feels a noticeable increase in acceleration and traction from the rear end mods. With Rob’s tuning the Z now puts down 418hp/396tq to the wheels! Peak numbers may be nice but check out the overall gains…a solid 40-50 hp/tq improvement from 3500rpm to 6500rpm:

Enjoy the Ride Ken!

Adam L works at an Infiniti dealership in the Bay Area. He had numerous bolt-on suspension parts installed at the dealership but left the dial-in and fine tuning to ZCG. Little details like tidying up the KW coil-over suspension and replacing some mangled sway bar bushings got the G37 back on the road:
Enjoy the Ride, and thanks for rocking a Z Car Garage banner on your windshield Adam! 🙂

Our last major update on
Alan E’s G35 was in 2009 when he made the jump to forced induction with a full Vortech supercharger install + supporting mods. Alan recently came back to ZCG for more power upgrades since we all know that boost is addictive!

We installed ART pipes to complement the upgraded exhaust system:

A 2.87 pulley generates more boost along with uprated 650cc injectors and an Aeromotive 340LPH fuel pump:

650cc injectors and Aeromotive fuel pump:

The initial build several years ago produced 417hp/320tq at the wheels:

With the current mods and Rob’s tuning, the G now produces 457hp/351tq to the wheels!

Will Alan’s craving for power be satisfied now? Stay tuned to find out!
