Ben’s LS1-powered FD RX-7 has always been one of my favorite cars to come out of Z Car Garage. Ben brought the 7 back for some serious power upgrades to the already potent V8 engine swap, more details coming soon. In the meantime check out his latest upgrade: ADVAN RS wheels! The old BBS wheels have been on the car for what seems like an eternity and we love the new look and stance. The concave spokes complement the beautiful, sexy curves of the FD’s body:

Our 12 car display at the 2013 San Jose Auto Show generated plenty of interest among show goers. We want to thank all of the participants, friends, and ZCG crew for helping out! For those of you that missed it here is a brief rundown of lineup:
On one end we featured a few newer Nissans starting with Walt’s R35 GT-R. Check out his new HRE track wheels!
The centerpiece of our display included a flatscreen flanked by two Datsun 280z’s: Gary(black) and Linda W’s Z: highlighting completeley stock to highly modiifed:
Following the 280z’s are Jim’s G35, Jack’s exotic Z32, and finally to cap off the old school Datsuns we featured Geri’s 260z and Lou’s RHD FairladyZ:

It’s that time of the year again for the San Jose International Auto Show! Starting January 10 and ending on January 13, ZCarGarage will have a multi-car display featuring modified cars of all years. For more show details go HERE.
At ZCG we love to participate in Motorsports and race prep for vintage Datsuns is just one of the few services we offer to get you on track and closer to the podium. Earlier this year we helped Steve Link with a high rpm misfire on his Datsun 240z. Steve had been chasing this gremlin for awhile and finally made his way North to ZCG where we solved it! Steve provided us a few clips of the race at Willow Springs:
