While this video is entertaining, I really would have preferred more driving and less model camera time. The driving is well done and it really shows how controllable stock 370Zs are. Just imagine how great these cars will be once we start upgrading the suspension, brakes, and NA (normally aspirated) power levels, can you say track-day killer?
I’m sure that there will be issues once the new cars start to see lots of track time but that is where we, Z Car Garage, come in. Any mods that we make to a 370z will be posted here as they happen so please check back soon.
Give me some feedback if you like or dislike the clip. It sounds like somebody’s got a case of the Mondays….
I’ve put two new cars up on the ‘For Sale’ page to help any of you in-need of a Z. Now is a great time to look into a new (to you anyway) Z or G car because driving season, and summer, are just around the corner. Give them a look!

One coolest shows on the west coast, as far as classic Datsuns are concerned, is taking place once again in Solvang, CA at the end of April. I know it’s mainly a Roadster event but there is a category in the show for other Datsuns (Zs, 510s, etc.) It is definitely something you should check out if you are into Nissan’s heritage and the ZCG faithful will be out in force to show off their prized possessions.
This show is very much a get together of old friends and enthusiasts alike and I would strongly encourage those who have never been to give it shot. The area around Solvang is beautiful this time of year and who better to enjoy it with than a couple hundred of you closest Datsun friends.
For more information make sure you check out the main web page for this event at SolvangShow.com. There are a ton of pictures from years past as well as event information and a history of the show and is definitely worth looking at.
Long Live the Z, but Roadsters are pretty cool too.

I have posted the ZCG G35 twin turbo in the For Sale section of the blog. We are sad to see it go, but it is time to share the ZCG wealth with all of you. We hope it goes to a great home.
I should also have a super clean 350z convertible up in the for sale section sometime tomorrow (Thurs.) so check back near the end of the day.
I just got back from William’s Autobody where I was taking pictures of the interior work that is taking place right now. All of the sound deadening has been removed as were all unnecessary brackets and other parts. Stripping the car is a very tedious process and most of it must be done by hand to guarantee that nothing important gets damaged.
As you can see the car has been extremely well taken care of throughout its life as there appears to be no patches or any signs of rust in the tub. A good starting point is crucial in a build like this RB28 car and it’s becoming hard to find cars as clean as this one, especially without paying a hefty price up front.
The next step after this striping stage is a smoothing process to make the floors and interior appear more uniform. This is followed by a few coats of primer and finally a deep black to match the rest of this amazing car. Rest assured that I will be back to take more pictures of the car as soon as more is completed.
