David Q is a new customer and came to Z Car Garage for some bolt-ons on his 370z.  We installed a Berk cat-back exhaust:

Stillen intakes and Motordyne M370z intake manifold:

On the dyno the motor dyne intake increased mid to upper rev range torque:

With the Berk exhaust and UPREV tuning even more low and high rpm hp/tq gains were seen:

Final results of 308hp/263tq to the wheels are improvements of +6hp/18tq. More importantly than peak gains, check out the significant gains in hp/tq from 3krpm all the way to redline where the Z makes almost +25hp/tq!

Kevin L wanted to improve the performance of his 2007 Infiniti M35.  Thankfully this large, 3rd-generation sedan sports Nissan’s venerable VQ engine so many bolt-ons are available. We started with Motordyne plenum spacer/lower intake and Injen intake:

UPREV tuning maximizes the improved breathing for peak gains of 15hp/6tq for a total of 238hp/230tq to the wheels:

The M is no lightweight, and driving a little more “spiritedly” can over-tax the factory brakes easily. Kevin opted for the Concept Z Performance Akebono Big Brake Kit (BBK). This kit uses the OEM brake components found on the G37 Sport Coupes and is a direct bolt-on for the M.

OEM vs the larger rotors 14″ (F) and 13.8″(R) will definitely help shed heat and prevent fade. Front calipers installed and framed nicely behind wheels:

More power and better braking make Kevin’s M sport sedan exciting to drive!

When the “mod bug” gets to you it’s a hard habit to break! Rich B visited us earlier this year for suspension and breathing upgrades and came back for an ART pipe install and re-tune.

An UPREV tune yielded +10hp/9tq for a total of 283hp/252tq to the wheels:

Brian K is a Lockheed Martin employee and came to Z Car Garage to have some bolt-ons and aesthetic pieces installed on his 350z. Bolt-on power upgraes included a JWT Pop Charger, Motordyne 5/16″ plenum spacer and the lovely Bassani full cat-back exhaust system:

Here are the intake and plenum spacer installed:

The stock exhaust compared to the new Bassani dual-exhaust system:

On the dyno we started with baseline numbers of 230hp/229tq at the wheels. Shown below are the gains from the intake+plenum spacer (234hp/232tq) and exhaust (246hp/238tq):

With an UPREV tune final numbers are 251hp/240tq to the wheels:

Brian also wanted to change up a few aesthetic pieces on his Z including the headlights and grille. The new lamps are from Spyder and the grille is a black mesh unit:

Kevin C wanted to spice up his daily driver Z33 so we added a Motordyne  5/16″ plenum spacer to complement his JWT Pop Charger:

UPREV tuning followed with peak gains of 13hp/10tq for a total of 256hp/245tq to the wheels:
