UPREV tuning for your Nissan/Infiniti is one of the best methods for maximizing power gains from bolt-ons. Another nice feature UPREV allows is multiple fuel/tuning maps that can be accessible with a push of your steering wheel mounted Cruise Control buttons.
Bob F came to us on local dealer Beshoff Infiniti’s recommendation. His G35 Journey sedan already sported a Borla exhaust, high-flow cats and JWT intakes but it needed tuning.
We removed the clip-on ecu to re-learn fuel maps and UPREV tuned with nice gains of 16hp/11tq for a total of 280hp/251tq at the wheels on this automatic-equipped HR engine:
We installed a used flywheel with a new JWT Heavy Duty clutch:
The Z also got some new shoes. Kevin has great taste and we applaud his wheel choice: 18″ WORK XD9s!!! The transformation is amazing:
New Bridgstone tires with 275s in back fill the wheel wells nicely. We love the lip and spoke design on the WORKs. A slight drop in ride height would be sweet…maybe Kevin will be visit us again for suspension 🙂
