The 2025 Solvang Datsun Roadster Classic will be held on April 25-26 in Solvang, CA. Now in its 38th year, this event continues a tradition of uniting owners from all parts of the world in a little town just outside of Santa Barbara. There is something for everyone here: shopping, food, wine-tasting, outdoor activities, and in the last weekend of April an epic gathering of Datsuns! We are only two months away from the big show so prep your cars and book those hotels!

Happy Birthday to Joel Anderson who passed away in 2021. Joel would have been 83 years old today and we miss him dearly. He was an immensely talented graphic artist and successful privateer Datsun racer with regional and national championships all over California. An amaZingly talented driver, Morton brought Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE) four National SCCA Championships from 1970-1972: two C-production championships in the Datsun 240Z and two Trans-Am championships in the Datsun 510. S30 Z Cars

In 2021, Larry Chen commissioned Z Car Garage to transform his beloved SR20DET-powered 1970 Datsun 240Z, affectionately known as “Ole Orange Bang”. The Z is now getting a full engine bay and front end restoration. It features our Z Car Garage Big-Brakes, Z Car Garage CV Axles, chassis preparation, dyno tuning and more.

Two Z33 Roadsters at the shop: Gary’s Blue ’07 just got a ZSpeed Performanc CMAK and clutch upgrade and Stillen CARB-legal Supercharger kit. The Black 350z is Joseph C’s with a new engine, Vortech, full suspension, DEFI gauges and upgraded stereo system. These convertibles will hit the street next week!
